
The Afghan Whigs have announced the Soft Control Tour 2026, including an Atlanta stop at Variety Playhouse on Nov. 5 with Night Moves.
The Afghan Whigs Tour Announcement
The Afghan Whigs will hit the road this fall for the Soft Control Tour 2026, with dates scheduled across the UK, Europe, and North America.
The Atlanta date is set for Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026 at Variety Playhouse. The show is listed for 8:00 PM with Night Moves supporting.
The tour follows the announcement of the band’s new album, Soft Control, which is set for release Aug. 21 via Royal Cream/BMG. The record marks the Afghan Whigs’ first full-length album since 2022’s How Do You Burn?, and includes the lead single “Jungle Roux.”
Ed Harcourt will join the UK and European dates, while Night Moves will support the North American run.
